By accessing or using toobtext (“the Service”, “we”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

toobtext fetches publicly available YouTube transcripts and uses AI to generate derivative content such as summaries, social media posts, and clip suggestions. All outputs are generated automatically and may contain errors or inaccuracies.

3. Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to process content you do not have the right to access.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract data from the Service beyond normal use.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any third-party rights.
• Circumvent usage limits or access controls.

5. Payments and subscriptions

• Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. By subscribing you authorise recurring charges to your payment method.
• All fees are shown in USD and are non-refundable except where required by law.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. AI-generated content

Outputs produced by the Service are AI-generated and provided “as is”. We make no guarantees about their accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose. You are solely responsible for reviewing and using any generated content. We do not claim ownership of outputs generated from your submitted URLs.

7. Intellectual property

The toobtext name, logo, and underlying software are owned by us. You retain all rights to content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the Service.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that transcripts will be complete or accurate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, toobtext shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the “Last updated” date above when changes are made.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which toobtext operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
